Our Single Origin Bergamot BF Essential Oil is extracted from plants grown in Italy.
Bergamot oil has a sweet, mellow citrusy and herbaceous aroma. It is used for its uplifting and stimulating qualities.
Bergamot has been used to treat skin concerns and digestive complaints in Italian folk history and Ayurvedic applications.
Bergaptene content has been removed (reflected in its lighter colour) and this greatly reduces the risk of photosensitization when exposed to the sun after use.
